One coordinated service model
Housing and residential support create stability. Case management, reentry assistance, transportation coordination, and connections to qualified health and recovery resources address the systems around each person so progress can last.
- Housing Stability & Residential SupportSafe, structured housing and the support that helps people keep it.
- Case Management & Community IntegrationOne plan, coordinated across the systems a person is already navigating.
- Reentry & Justice-Impacted ServicesCoordinated support for people returning to the community.
- Transportation & LogisticsDependable transportation coordination that supports access and continuity.
- Behavioral Health & Substance-Use Support CoordinationConnections to qualified care, recovery resources, and coordinated support.

Why WCI exists
Housing alone does not create stability.
WCI was created out of years of hands-on residential program operations. A person can have a place to stay and still face barriers in health care, benefits, identification, transportation, employment, education, and family relationships, while navigating several service systems at once.
WCI is built around a different premise: community integration takes coordinated support around the whole person, so people can move beyond temporary stabilization toward sustainable community living and greater independence.
Who WCI is built to support
Adults facing several barriers at once, with particular attention to South Los Angeles and nearby neighborhoods.

How WCI works
Seven principles shape the service model, from how a plan is written to how progress is measured.
- Person-centered
- Every participant has different circumstances, strengths, barriers, and goals.
- Trauma-informed
- Services recognize the effects trauma can have on behavior, relationships, health, and stability.
- Housing-focused
- Stable housing creates the foundation for progress in other areas.
- Strengths-based
- Work starts from ability and achievable goals, not from a person's previous circumstances.
- Community-based
- Long-term stability depends on real connections to community resources and support systems.
- Collaborative
- Coordination with agencies, healthcare and behavioral-health providers, community organizations, housing partners, and families.
- Outcome-oriented
- Progress is measured in housing stability, service engagement, independence, and community integration.
